What stays on your device

• Your location. When you press “Use my location” or pick a town, the nearest stores are worked out in your browser. Your position is never sent to us. The town you picked is remembered on this device.
• Your basket. Kept in your browser's storage. To price it, the page asks our server for the prices of the product numbers in it, nothing else.

What we record

• Visits. Each page sends a small record to this site's own address, which passes it to kstats, the site owner's own statistics service (not a third party): the page address, the site you came from, your country, device type, screen size and how long the page was open. To count visitors without cookies, kstats makes a one-way hash of your network address and browser with a key that changes every day; your network address itself is never stored. Detailed records are kept for 400 days, then only daily totals remain. No advertising or third-party trackers.
• Feedback. If you use the feedback form we keep your message, the page it was about, your device type and, only if you give it, your email address so we can reply.
• Server logs. Our host, Cloudflare, sees your IP address as part of serving the page, and our error logs keep a coarse network name for a few days to spot abuse.

Who else sees the connection

Pages load fonts from Google Fonts and product photos from the chains' own image servers (continente.pt and auchan.pt), so those see a request from your browser. Links to a chain's shop open their site, under their privacy policy.
